Who Is Alpha For?

Alpha is for anyone and everyone. Whether you consider yourself a skeptic, a seeker, or someone who just wants to revisit the foundations of Christianity, you’re welcome. You don’t need any prior knowledge or church experience—just a willingness to explore.

What to Expect at Alpha

Every Alpha session follows a simple format:

1. A Meal – Enjoy good food and connect with others in a friendly setting.
2. A Talk – Watch a short video that explores key aspects of the Christian faith, such as "Who is Jesus?" and "Why and how do I pray?"
3. Discussion – Join an open conversation where you can share your thoughts, ask questions, or just listen—there’s no obligation to speak.

Do I have to be a Christian to attend?

No! Alpha is for everyone, regardless of background or beliefs. You’re welcome to come as you are.

How much does it cost?

Alpha is completely free. There’s no charge for attending, and meals are provided at no cost.

How long is the course?

Alpha runs for about 10 weeks, with each session lasting around 90 minutes.

How often do you run Alpha?

We run Alpha throughout the year, usually 3-4 times depending on numbers.

Do I have to come every week?

While we encourage you to attend as many sessions as possible to get the full experience, there’s no obligation. Just come when you can!

Where does it take place?

We host Alpha at relaxed and comfortable settings around Perth, usually at the homes of our church members. Exact locations details can be found on our Humantix registration page when you sign up for Alpha.
